In Partnership with the Central Neighborhood Health Foundation (CNHF) Mobile Clinic

Find Homeless People, Inc., a California-based 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization partnered with the Central Neighborhood Health
Foundation (CNHF) to feed and provide Covid-19 Vaccinations and
Flu Shots to twenty unhoused residents of Wilmington, CA, Los
Angeles County on January 11, 2023. The the goal in Los Angeles
County and Orange County is to help the unhoused stay nourished
and healthy.

Find Homeless People, Inc. and CNHF’s mobile clinic sets up in
various locations throughout Los Angeles County to provide a free
healthy food and medical services to those in need. The community unhoused, who often don’t have the ability to visit any of CNHF’s network of Medicare-certified federally qualified health centers serving Los Angeles County and Orange County, can get the preventive medical care they need, along with free nourishing food.

FindHomelessPeople.org volunteers and CNHF’s mobile clinic will visit community most impacted areas such as the encampments found beneath freeways and densely populated streets. Medical services offered include, but are not limited to:

• COVID Vaccines/Testing
• Physical Exam
• Staple or Suture Removal
• Basic Meds Refills
• Wound Care
• Screen for STI’s including Syphilis, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea
• Referrals to HIV and STI Treatment
• PrEP and PEP Services

and other essential needs.

“Without proper nourishment and a healthy diet that includes
fresh fruit people are prone to illnesses. We responded quickly to
make sure homeless and at-risk individuals, get fresh fruit and
other food” said Cesar Hernandez, head of FindHomelessPeople.org’s community outreach program. “We went to the 1st Baptist Church of
San Bernardino and donated 2 pallets of apples, chilies, and bananas to help them assist low income families of San Bernardino, CA ” he continued.

To Provide Those In Need of Food and Dry Bedding

January 9, 2023 – Orange County, CA – FindHomelessPeople Inc
donated dry bedding and food supplies to the Orange County
Rescue Mission to serve homeless and at-risk individuals in
Orange County, CA. FindHomelessPeople.org volunteers quickly
meet the needs of rescue missions throughout Orange County
and Los Angeles County CA by seeking and distributing donations
of food supplies, clothing, and clean dry bedding.

“If people, especially babies and young children, are left without warm dry bedding and nourishment they are prone to illnesses. We responded quickly to make sure homeless and atrisk individuals, including babies and children get much needed, and immediate, support” said Cesar Hernandez, head of FindHomelessPeople.org’s community outreach program. “We went
to the Orange County Rescue Mission and distributed 25 little girls sleeping bags, 25 baby blankets, and 15 crib sheets along with 5 cases of packaged jelly, 1 case of packaged mayonnaise, 1 container of honey butter, 1 container of mayonnaise, 100 plastic coffee cups, 100 spoons, 100 knives, and 2 cases of bottled water” he continued.

 

Find Homeless People, Inc., Distributes Emergency Housing Vouchers and Food for 30 Homeless Individuals in Los Angeles County, California

FindHomelessPeople.org is a participant in the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA), and other private programs, to serve the vulnerable.

Find Homeless People, Inc., a California-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, continues its services as a participant in the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) effort to help allocate interim housing vouchers to those in need who qualify for the program.

As the New Year begins, FindHomelessPeople.org distributed 30 emergency housing vouchers to help homeless individuals in the greater Los Angeles, CA area. Each voucher recipient gained access to LAHSA-approved homeless shelters including:

• LA Family Housing
• Village Family Services
• Single-room Occupancy Programs
• Midnight Mission
• Los Angeles LGBT Center
• Home at Last

Find Homeless People Inc. Announces Street Outreach Worker Program – Looking for Volunteers Who Want to Help House the Unhoused

Find Homeless People Inc, is driven to reach struggling people at where they are. We now have a new method to make it happen. We are in search of a Street Outreach Worker to go out into the streets of Los Angeles to connect with those experiencing homelessness. The intention is to engage them in conversation, build relationships, and provide plausible solutions for their
situations.

With this new development comes a new opportunity to volunteer as well. Once we have the outreach role filled, we will begin to invite volunteers to come out along with staff. We would be limiting it to one or two volunteers per shift, each shift being about two hours. We are excited to have the community be a part of this growth.
