2026 HOPWA Funding Allocation

Strategies to End Homelessness is accepting applicants for the City of Cincinnati 2026 Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS’ (HOPWA) next funding cycle.

Strategies to End Homelessness via HUD is seeking applications from both NEW and RENEWAL Applicants. To qualify for this funding, you must serve people with HIV/AIDS who reside in the approved counties.

The approved counties are:

Indiana: Dearborn, Ohio, Union, Franklin

Kentucky: Boone, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Pendleton, Bracken

Ohio: Brown, Clermont, Hamilton, Warren, Butler

For New Agencies that are wanting to apply should complete the 2026 HOPWA New Applicants form on Strategies to End Homelessness’ website within the Public Documents library

For Returning Agencies that are wanting to apply should complete the 2026 HOPWA Renewal Application form on Strategies to End Homelessness’ website within the Public Documents library

All application should be submitted to: NOFAS@end-homelessness.org by March 9th, 2026, at 4:00 P.M.
