Chicago Coalition to End Homelessness (CCH) is excited to introduce this year’s cohort of college scholarship recipients! Earlier this summer, six recent high school graduates were awarded renewable scholarships surrounded by their friends, family, and CCH staff and volunteers at a celebratory lunch. We honored the students’ achievements during high school and celebrated their upcoming transition to college.
CCH’s scholarship program supports students with $4,000 scholarships, renewable for up to five years as they work toward a college degree. CCH also provides first-year winners with new laptops to set them up for success in their studies.
In addition to our six new awardees, eighteen returning students will receive scholarship support during the 2026-27 school year: six sophomores, five juniors, and seven seniors. We’re also proud to support five program alumni who are now pursuing graduate degrees with $500 stipends for books or other academic materials. These scholars are studying education, clinical psychology, environmental engineering, and medicine.
Since the program began in 2004, CCH has awarded more than $1.2 million to 112 students.
