About Strategies to End Homelessness
Collaboration and partnership is the cornerstone of our work. Strategies to End Homelessness closely collaborates with 30+ organizations in Greater Cincinnati. Helping to build a network of support for those experiencing homelessness. First, from providing technical assistance on regulations from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
To also helping the organizations that provide direct services adapt to emerging best practices. And leading strategic planning efforts within the homeless services system. In part, our job, is to make sure our partner agencies have the resources they need to effectively serve people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Cincinnati Homeless System Data
The Cincinnati/Hamilton County Continuum of Care (OH-500) was one of the first in the country to establish a shared database used by all of our local homeless programs, called the Homeless Management Information System. Strategies to End Homelessness is the lead agency for our local HMIS.
Therefore, giving us immediate access to data to track program outcomes in real time and improve underperforming programs.
Local HMIS data is a powerful tool in identifying the most effective strategies to end homelessness. Additionally, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has charged Strategies to End Homelessness with overseeing our local HMIS. For an up-to-date dashboard of our system, click here.
